engine started making a tapping noise

hi i recently bought a Renault clio and the engine has started making a tapping noise I've changed the engine oil too a thicker oil but still the same cud it be the tappets need adjusting?.

Noise coming from the engine as i go throw the gears it gets a bit quieter as i get too fifth gear?

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge if its within specs-start here
