280000+ miles, how much for a tune up, will it help, and where would the cheapest place to get it done, I live in bloomington, ca, next to fontana, san bernadino, colton, riverside in that area. 92316 is my zipcode. Or is it time for the sable graveyard, oh an I'm nowhere near mechanically inclined.

The smartest thing you could do is NOT look fo the cheapest place to have the work dne. Competence is far more important than price. Utilize places like Angies list or word of mouth from friends.
