The rpm's stay way to high And takes a good while for it to drop.Act's like the throttle is stuck but I know this is not the problem. I'm going to change the fuel delivery module witch I can not find. Also the fuel gauge does not read correct all the time.The car I'm working on is a 2002 ford mercury cougar.this module is not in the tank .so I'm told.can anyone help .thank U

try cleaning throttle plate on both sides with choke cleaner and iac hole then check for a vacuum leak. finally if still doing it scan for codes prior to replacing anything.
