I have a 2002 durango that does not start up right away. Have replaced fuel pump 4 times now back to oem pump. Through the process we have exchanged the thottle position sensor, the crank and cam sensors, but still is doing same. If I let it just turn over without holding the gas pedal down I will get a crank/cam sensor error, but these have been replaced. When the engine does start a few seconds later it smells really rich.
Does the 02 durango even have a fuel regulator.
I have noticed that this problem is also found the dakota, in other posts online.
Is this a injector problem?
