Low coolent light

I have a 2002 Chevy Impala with 48,000 miles. When i start it up the low coolent warning comes on. When it warms up after about 15-20 minutes the warning goes off. The coolent level is between hot and cold in the resavore.

If you have a separate cap for the radiator itself, check the level at that point. If not, then the level sensor in the reservoir may be bad.
