I had the recharge of the a/c and the refill of the Freon done but the air flow from the vents is warm. The air still blows warm even after 20-30 minutes. Could it be the compressor? If so, how much does that repair run?

Is the clutch on the compressor engaging? For it to be recharged, it had to be working. Check it to confirm. Lets look at this guide to help fix the problem.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-air-conditioner-not-working-or-is-weak

it sounds like the compressor is not working

Please run down these guides and report back.

My air conditioner is no longer working. When I turn the knob, nothing happens. It does not make any noises nor does it blow any air at all. Can you provide insight as to what the problem could be and how much it could cost to repair it?

Thanks in Advance

That would be tough to do. I suggest you go to a shop for an estimate. The system is complex and needs to be seen by a professional.

Hello guys, I have a 99 Buick Century that has a very intermittent AC problem on norm or max settings. At idle the system cools for about 15 mins or so then the compressor cuts out for 1 -10 minutes with a quick cycle several times then resumes cooling. I also noticed this during regular city driving but could not tell if the quick cycling was happening. I attempted to charge the system with 1/2 can of 134 with leak detector but have not found any leaks. Any ideas are welcome before I visit the dealer.

Thank you!

If you can get it to cycle while idling, use a test light at the cycling switch (on the receive/drier, low side of the system) The switch should have power through it when a/c is working properly, when it begins to cycle, se if the feed side of the circuit is turning off or if the cycling switch is not making the through connection. This will tell you if it is losing signal frrom the dash end or if the cycling switch is going bad and cant handle the load for an extended length of time

There is a blend door for each side that determines how hot or cold the temp is. If it is warm and you have it set for AC, the blend air door must be sticking.

Its going to be the actual Ajdusting controler I had the same problem but with the pasenger side on a 91 regal. Sins its has the passenger controler separet I could just replace it but if its the driver side youll probably have change the whole module and thats expensive!

How much should it cost to repair the air conditioning on a 2001 Buick Century? It does not work at all. Fan blows and heat works okay.

Not knowing what is wrong, I put everything that they may charge you. Add an additional 1 hour if your system leaks.
