I've replaced the rear wiper blade, but the entire wiper sits just below the rear glass on the tailgate and that is why the end of the rubber blade wears out and tears. How do I adjust the entire rear wiper to sit just on the glass. I've removed the cover plate and the nut, sprayed WD-40 on the bolt, but the wiper mechanism does not want to come off. How do I remove this wiper to adjust it to sit on the glass and not the metal below the glass?

Just changed my rear wiper blade on my 2004 Acura MDX. Got the refill blade at Flow Honda for $5.63. To remove old blade find the end with indentation and splayed end. In order to remove you have to remove the metal stiffeners. Push rubber end over, grab metal stiffener and pull them out of both sides. The old rubber blade can now be removed. Install new blade without the stiffeners first, next insert the stiffeners. Double check that every thing lines up.
