Blows fuse when turning on A/C

So now my A/C light is blinking lol. Wasn't doing this before but it's likely doing that because I wasn't able to charge the system because of the fuse blowing.

The fans on my 2001 do not engage at all when pressing the a/c button. They are supposed to be powered during A/C use. On my newer RAV 4 2003 the fans engage immediately when turning on the AC.

It looks as if the fans are not functioning at all on 2001 or not getting power. How on Earth do I trouble shoot this one lol. Why is it blinking now? It wasn't blinking at all prior to unplugging and plugging the fans back in.

If your heater box uses electric actuators for the mode doors, there is a memory in the computer, and sensors that tell it the positions of the doors. That memory is lost if power is removed. There is likely a relearn procedure that must be initiated, then it will run the doors through their ranges, and take various sensor readings. If it comes to that, I'll have to try to find the appropriate information.

There's two 30-amp fuses to check under the hood for the dead fan. One is labeled "RDI", and the other is labeled "CDS". If either of those are blown, suspect the fan motor has tight bearings. That will make the motor draw high current and blow the fuse.

There's also three fan relays. Try swapping relay 1 with another one like it. You can also pop the cover off relay 1, reinstall it that way, then squeeze the movable contact to turn it on. That should make the radiator fan run.
