I have a 2001 sunfire today the car would start ran for a while then power went out car still ran till I shut it off then would not start had t boost it was fine for a bit but power went out again and would not start

What exactly do you mean by "power went out"?

All the gages and radio and lights went out the car ist self was still running but when I stoped and shut it off I had to boost it to get it going everything was fine for a few min the it did it again now have to boost it to start it thankyou

The first thing you need to do is charge and test the battery and then once you know you have a good, fully charged battery, test the charging system. If all that passes, check all the fusible links.
