Does arm move freely by hand motion like it may be disconnected from motor?

So if wipers are "on", the post/nut on passenger side is not oscillating? If not, linkage under cowl is next check.

My windshield wipers are not working properly. When they are off they stop laying vertically on the windshield. When they swipe back and forth they get jumbled up in each other.

Start by checking all fuses. If this checks out trace the wires from your windshield wiper motor for open or short circuits. If this checks out suspect a faulty wiper motor or the wiper arms on the windshield are not lined up properly. To fix this take wipers off turn wiper switch on wait until the wiper arm would be laying in the down position and put wiper arms back on.

Check fuse first, then relay. If okay check wiper motor.

My wind shield wiper washer does not work. Wipers work fine, but no washer fluid comes out when requested.

i just bought my car not even seven months ago, when I got it from the guy he said that nothing was wrong with it. Transmission had just been replaced and it worked great. Then I went up north and it rained the whole weekend. I did not drive it the time while I was up there and then when I went to drive it, everything thing seemed fine until then I tried to accelerate and it would not go over twenty mph. It just putted there and would not move. Its very annoying when I have to be somewhere and the car does not work when it rains all day. I do not know what to do to fix it because everyone I talk to has no idea what I am talking about or how to fix it. Another thing is that the windshield wiper pump does not pump out the fluid. The windshield wipers work but the water does not come out when I hit the button. We replaced the motor that it has, but it still does not work.

Two wheel drive automatic

It was raining today and my windshield wipers were working just fine. It was raining pretty heavy so of course I had my windshield wipers up to the max. While I was driving my right windshield wiper stopped working. What could be the cause of this?

My passenger side windshield wiper stopped working this morning. The driver side wiper continues to work. Is it a linkage issue since I assume there is only one motor controlling both wipers?

I have a GT, it has 113,000 miles, it is a six cylinder. I was driving home tonight and it was raining and my passenger side wiper just stopped working. The driver side still works fine. Do you know what could be wrong? Thank you very much.

Hi. The engine still runs great, but the problem is the windshield wipers. Replaced motor one year ago with new, and now it does not work again. Wondering if something else could be wrong. Not to trustful of the local mechanic.
