2001 Mercedes Benz C230 temperature sensor

When car starts the fan kicks in about 3 to 4 sec later even when cold change temperature sensor that seemed to cure the problem but after driving for a time the problem comes back. Eng code P0117 what could be the problem I have changed the sensor two times. Can you help.

Does the problem solve itself each time the sensor was changed and then returned each time? Also your code P0117 isn't valid. Look at it again and write own the description the reader gives if it gives you one
