Oil, fuel gauge, trip light.

Car: 2001 GMC Jimmy. When the car is started the fuel gauge moves from E to a 3/4 of a tank, even when filled. The trip light goes off when the car is started and and only comes on, when the key is set to ACC. The temp gauge does not move. All of these problems happend at the same time. All other gauges seem to be working.

check the back of the instrument cluster for any signs of a cracked or burnt printed circuit, i have on some occasions found this to be the cause of simelar problems on other cars, worth a look.
