Hi there,

I was driving and at highway speed and suddenly my engine lost power and the check engine light started flashing for about 10 seconds. It was still drivable but was it jerking slightly and had about half the power. I was looking for somewhere to pull over and it went back to normal and the light went off. I had the computer scanned at the next garage I came to but no codes came up so carried on my way.

I also randomly can feel a slight jerking while driving slow. Sometimes its really faint and others its really noticeable. I am planning a big road trip and want to get it sorted before I go. Ideas please?

I haven't had a chance to check the fuel pressure as I don't have easy access to a pressure gauge and have been real busy at work. But the check engine light came on again today. I got a couple codes, P0303 and P0304, cylinder 3 and 4 misfire. I've just realised both times the engine light came on it was really wet weather and it seems to misfire worse when its wet. Im thinking it might be related to the spark plug wires, wires or coils. Would that sound right or should I focus on the fuel pressure first?

It ma be related to plug wires but misfires are very hard to diagnose so dont' be surprised if replacing plugs, wires etc that it is still there also check for a vacuum leak.
