I have a 2001 Ford Windstar with 195,000 miles on it. The engine light has been on forever, however the engine light just started blinking and the engine started running rough. It happens randomly and for varying lengths of time. I recently had the spark plugs, wires, ignition coil, fuel filter, and air fliter changed. I went to AutoZone and had them run the codes. The codes are P 0171, P 0174, P 0301, P 0302, and P 0401. What should I look at replacing next and can a novice like myself change this part? Any info that you could provide would be helpful.

A common problem with this engine is the small egr orfices to each cylinder becoming restricted with carbon in the lower intake, sending egr flow into cylinders with unrestricted orfices, creating misfires, a simple test would be to remove vaccum hose from egr and road test, see if misfires are gone, if they are, the plenum will have to come off and the egr passages cleaned out in the lower intake.

The above answer is correct, although that will not fix the p0171 p0174 concern. There is a TSB out there for this concern. You will need to inspect your front valve cover to see if there is a baffle in the oil filler neck. A possible PCM recalibration, and you need to replace all the bolts and gossets that hold the plenum to the top of the engine.
