My car has ran fine ever since I got it and I've put about 14,000 mi on it since. Then just the other day after a short trip to a friends house, I had just gone to reverse into a parked position when I heard a 'clank' or 'clunk' noise, I thought it was just the tire well getting caught on my tire and snapping back or something. I parked and left the engine running as my friend should have been out any second. Then the rpm dropped from its usual idle of about 800-900 rpm down to I don't know, maybe like 400-500 rpm. It fluctuated between the two about three times over about 5 seconds and it shuddered on the verge of dying at the low rpm range until it did eventually die. I got a little scared and didn't immediately try to turn it back on. But when I did maybe 3 minutes later, it fired up and idle'd just fine. My "Sevice Engine Soon" light was now on and I had planned on going to my local Auto Zone to get the codes checked the next day because they were closed just then. I had school early in the morning, (7:30am) so I tried my car, and a repeat of what had happened the night before happened again. It started, bogged down and shuttered at really low rpm then died. I tried again and it died again, a third time it started and stayed on. So I decided to go to school and hope it didn't die in the middle of a street somewhere. (It didn't thankfully) It started just fine after class and I drove home with no issues. Then right when I was going to go to Auto Zone to get the codes checked, my car died at a store down the street from my house, (My Gf wanted a drink lol) It was not able to start and I didn't want to either possibly make it worse by cranking the engine over and over. (I tried to start it maybe 5 times to no avail. And the sound only got worse) I did some research and thought it might be my fuel pump. I can hear the fuel pump whirl on when the car is in the on position, but I don't have the equipment to check the psi or electrical components to completely rule out the fuel pump. I also thought it might be my PVC valve or hose because the hose had broken once when I got the valve replaced, and I thought the hose might have come loose or something, but it seems to be fine when I checked it. BUT, I did see this. (Added picture) It looks like coolant is leaking from there and I don't know if that could be the problem either.
