2001 Ford Focus Car won't start

I gave another car a jump and now my car won't start I checked the battery it wasn't it I even disconnected the battery for some minutes and it still didn't work I checked the fuses and everything seems fine but the car won't start

If you jumped battery terminals to battery terminals with out a surge protector built into the jumper leads, you may have suffered a voltage spike, which can damage the ECU, I would start with a scan, and make sure that the Engine check light turns on with the ignition on.
