The other night i drove my truck to walmart, and it ran fine. I've never had problems with it. When i came back out, it wouldn't start. I tried getting a jump, but that wasn't the problem. I thought that it was the starter, but after replacing the starter i'm still in the same spot. I checked all the connections. I am in the military and don't have much time to work on my vehicle, so an answer would be awesome.

Have you checked the battery terminals to make sure they are clean and tight? Also, have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for voltage to the smaller wire on the starter. There should be 12+ volts. Let me know what you find.

If the voltage is good to the starter in the start position, then the starter has to be bad.

So if the voltage wasn't good, what would it mean, because i'm not sure that i'm doing it right.

I was wondering if it could be anything with the clutch safety switch.

Yes, it could be the clutch switch, but that wouldn't cause the battery to click. I still feel there is a connection problem. If the battery is good, you need to check for power to the starter. If there is no power going to the solenoid, then it could be a relay, ignition switch...
