2001 Chev Impala LS, Heater and A/C sometimes works and sometimes not at all. When they do not work, neither will the cruise control. Sometimes they all work when you start up the car and sometimes its taken as long as 45 minutes of driving and all of a sudden, they start working. Once they start working, they will usually keep working until the vehicle is turned off. This has been going on for over a year.

When the blower motor stops, check to see if there is power to the motor. IF there is, replace the motor. If there isn't, you need to trace wiring back through the resister, relay, switch. Until you find where the power is lost.

Until you find where the power is lost. I don't think the two are related. Have the VSS checked for the issue with the cruise control.
