How do I check and change the intake gasket for a 2001 Chevy Cavalier 2.5

I have herd that the intake gasket goes out in these. For a short while it has been running rough not getting up to speed, lurching when stopped, the track light has been coming on, stalling and shaking. If you have any other ideas of what this might be please let me know thank you.

Have the computer scanned to identify what the trouble code is. The traction cntrol system will limit power from the engine if it feels slipping. Most parts stores will scan it for free.
