2001 Camaro front parking lights stay on after car if off.

This is a new problem. Battery was dead so I started looking for lights left on. Discovered the front parking lights staying on, even when all lights turned off. Rear lights go off as they should. Is this a wiring short or am I missing something here?

It could be a short to power but if the fronts go on, the rears should light also. There is something strange with this. It could be the headlight switch as well.

You need a shop good with intermittent issues like yours. They take time and patience to figure out.

When I actually turn on parking lights with light switch (middle position) then both front/rear are lit, as they should be. It's when I turn off car and/or turn off lights where the front parking lights remain on while all others go off properly.

I know, but disconnect the switch and see if they still come on

You need to get behind the headlight switch and disconnect the connector
