My back left signal light was not working so I change it and the socket too because it could not hold the light bulb. So it work but when I turn van on and I put the left signal on my dashboard started blinking including miles light, clock light, and dashboard light dim. So I when to the back to see and even though I put the left signal both signals were on, the left one a little brighter then the other. After all that I went and bought the relay fuse but the problem is still there don't know what's wrong anymore. Also when I put the other socket for yah bulb I had to cut it and I just wire it and put the black electricity tape around the wires. Helpppppoo thank you

The most common cause of what you described is caused by using the wrong socket and / or the wrong bulb. The bulb should have two contacts on the bottom, and the socket should have two contacts in the center. If you use a bulb with a single contact right in the middle, it will short the tail lights to the left signal / brake light. The dash lights tap off the tail light circuit, so the wrong bulb will make the dash lights turn on when the brake lights or left signal are turned on.
