coolant leak/ check engine

my 2000 volvo s40 is leaking coolant. the check engine light came on about a week ago. there is a rubber hose in the front of the car that now burns when the car is being driven. what is the problem? how can i fix it?

have it pressure checked to make sure whre the leak is coming form. if th eose is bad then replace it.
