oil and gasket problem

my w reg vaxhual astra has problems with the gaskit and no heating. there is a milky substance in the container. and there was no water in tank. no heating or air conditioning. could it be the oil pump or is it the gaskit?

Is the milky substance in the coolant overflow container? Also, refill the coolant and you should get heat. However, the milky substance sounds like coolant and oil mixing which leads me to believe there is a bad head gasket.
