While driving my dash lights came on one by in. First the battery then emergency brake, then abs, air bag and then overdrive. I pulled in gas station and shut it off now now it won't start and I couldn't jump it either. All it would do is click.

The charging system quit while you were driving and the battery was running the electrical system until it ran down. Jump-starting an engine with a dead battery requires charging the battery for five to ten minutes before trying to start the engine. It takes a few minutes for the battery to START taking a charge. It's also likely there was a bad connection on one or more of the jumper cable clamps.

The various warning lights were turning on as the computers shut down from low voltage.
