dies when stoped

Hi the battery went dead at work before thanksgiving went jumed it brought home unhooked battery cabled to clean post and now when I stop at a stop sign or light the car dies but starts right back up when in neutral what could cause this?

Its probably the computer relearning its idle speed

ok been doing it for a week though i just bought a idle throtle comtrol valve just in case auto zone said that could be it but ill wait and see if it fixes its self before i get the part.
