Im trying to connect my accessories wire(s) to my option button on my prestige alarm, what color is the accessory wire(s)? Im trying to get a push button start but, also use my alarm's option button (since I dont have a pop trunk option on car) to engage the accessories so that when I get into the car, all I have to do is push the button to start and go, I need to find out what the accessories power wire is so that I can just turn them on before I get to the car as im unlocking. Please help. I dont know where the accessory wire(s) is/are.B

You are trying to install auto start functions and you need to be specific with what wires you need to connect.

Is the accessories function from the ignition switch you are looking for? Do you have the wiring schematic for the alarm system you are installing?

The name of the prestige alarm is the model APS25C, and to be general, because I am electronically savvy but I just dont know what to look for on this one, im just trying to hook up my alarm and a push button start such as the pic added on, I want to combine my alarm's trunk or aux function with that so I can hit the aux on my alarm's remote transmitter (after unlocking the car) and get in and start it up without having to put the key in. Please help me as best as you can, currently looking for the diagram for the alarm. Thank you.

Here, I found a diagram, *link not working*, look at the bottom left on page 7 of 8 (the acual diagram) and see that there is a "hood or trunk pin button", I dont have an automatic hood or trunk and want to possible hook that power up to the button for the push button start so that all I have to do is unlock the car, hit the aux button on my remote so all my accessories come on and the engine is ready to start, and then puch the button for it to come on, or is there a way to wite up the button to where when I unlock the car, it engages and all I have to do is push the button and it will start with out me having to put the key anywhere near the hole, I want this keyless. Thanx.

On page 7 there is a Dark Blue for the Aux. That is the wire you should be using but you need another module for the remote start or for turning the ignition switch on. The system you are using does not seem to come complete with that.

The trunk/hood pin cannot be used as it is for indicating if the trunk/hood is closed.

I cant hook my trunk n hood function on my remote to my car because I dont have pop hood or trunk, I have a 2000 mitsubishi galant. Its old. Lol no electric buttons. So I was going to use the power that would be generated from the wire that cannot be used for my trunk and hood to power up my aux or ignition (whatever is needed to be powered before I can just hit the button and start the car). U get it?

So is there a way I can possibly put the aux (that first stage when you turn the car on, but not start it) on the remote and ignition on the button (basically hitting the button is like turning the key)?

You need another module to connect to the Dark Blue wire to turn the system on. With that module, you can connect it to the ignition wires to turn on the system without turning on the ignition switch.
The system that you are going to install does not have that function.
