My windows won't work unless the driver rolls them up or down. The other switches do not work. Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

The power to the other windows goes through the main switch on the driver's door and most have a lock out system to prevent kids from playing with the windows. Check to make sure power is getting back out of the shut off switch. Also, make sure there is no problem with the wiring between the driver's door and the door frame. In the rubber grommet that protects the wiring, many times a wire will get damaged. It can be internal and not seen, so check for continunity. Make sure the battery is disconnected when doing it.
