Car stops running and bucks

When at idle the car runs fine. It's a 2000 Ford Taurus SEL DOHC. When I press the gas and get up around 40 mph or above the car starts to buck back and forth and completely stops accelerating. I have replaced the fuel pump, the battery, the o2 sensors, the pcv valve, and the spark plugs, I'm thinking that it's the intake manifold and the gaskets I'm just trying to see who all agrees.

Thanks ! I love this site!

A vacuum leak won't wait till you are at 40MPH. Has the check engine light ever come on?

If the light is flashing, that tells me there is a misfire. Have the computer scanned to identify where the problem is coming from. Most parts stores will do it for free.
