When I am driving my its like a Kangaroo. Its more like Herbie now. It started doing it couple weeks ago after I fuelled up at a particular fuel station. I was then told this station was selling dirty fuel. I took car to garage and had the fuel filter changed which was in a very way. After that the car seemed to be fine but has now started this jumping again. I can feel the car losing power when I am accelerating as well and have had a few near misses when trying to pick up speed and the car just doesnt want to. I have taken it back to mylocal garage, the mechanic is a family friend, and he has checked it over and done all diagnostics but cannot find any problems. Any idea what this could be? Im at my wits end but I love my car

Has he re checked for fuel contamination? There may be water in the tank.

I feel that some of the muck may have passed the filter and your injectors may be dirty, I would suggest that they are cleaned off car and flow tested.
