Ford Focus dying while driving

I have a 2000 ford focus zx3. When I drive it for a while the battery light comes on and than it dies on me even if im moving. Its not the alternator, battery, cables. There is a recall in 2003 that there were bad (fdm) fuel delivery module. Could this be the problem or what could it be.

You need to check the fuel pressure if its within specs-to rule out the FDM. The problem could be coming from the computer controlled of the alternator's field generation ciruit-have this checked out-
