I tried to start my car and it wouldn't start the first time I turned the key. I turned it again and I could tell it wanted to start to turn over. I turned it again and it turned over but didn't start. The fourth time I turned the key it started up. What type of repair am I looking at?

If you hear a single kind of loud clunk under the hood each time you turn the ignition switch to "crank", but it doesn't spin the engine, suspect worn solenoid contacts inside the starter. They can be replaced for 20 bucks but most people just replace the entire starter. This is real common on the little silver Nippendenso starters. It always starts out being intermittent and will get worse over the next weeks and months. Cycling the ignition switch repeatedly will get it started.
