My chevey Malibu is making a grinding noise and its not the brakes or barrings.

The car is making a grinding noise when it is being driven it does not make the noise when the car is in park or in drive with the brake on, it just makes the noise when being driven, my father has checked out the car and it is not the brakes nor the barrings we can not find out whats wrong with the car.

Often times the heat shield for the brake rotors can bend and rub against the rotor. This can change when you go around turns and in other situations as a slight change in suspensionload can make it deflect a little.
So, check the clearance all the way around each rotor to the heat shield and especially pay attention to the part that runs between the rotor and the lower ball joint as it is a tight fit. If you do bend the heat shiels, it takes some patience as bending it in one place flexes it somewhere else.
