bubbling over from reservoir

my wife's 200 is overflowing antifreeze from the reservoir but temperature gauge shows normal. What is the problem?

I looked at the engine and it is a dual VVT 2.4 liter engine.

I was listening to my wife but in driving the car this morning it is getting hot very quickly. Sorry but it gets hot!

if it gets hot within a couple of minutes it may be the thermostat stuck otherwise fill cooling system and pressure check or chemically check for a head gasket leak. auto parts has both cone is rent able the other you have to buy either is okay.
