IF BAD ALTERNATOR, HOW DO I REMOVE IT?

Use a digital multimeter across battery posts, everything off. Make sure the battery has a full charge and the connections are all clean and tight. Start the vehicle, take second reading across battery posts, the second reading should be higher than the first, if alternator is charging. Any applicable trouble codes?
