2000 chrysler 2.4..I replaced the radiator and need to know if I fill the system with antifreeze before I put the thermostat in or after..I doesn't seem to be circulating when I put the coolant in after the thermostat...It steams out and doesn't draw from the reservoir as it should..Maybe needs a thermostat?

Look near the thermostat housing for a plug or sensor below the thermostat that can be removed to burp the air. The thermostat won't open in response to hot air. It has to be hit with hot coolant to open.
