Do you have the original differential in this vehicle or some other differential with clutches or lockers?
If you do have the original check the brakes in the rear specifically with drum brakes. Make sure they're properly adjusted and not damaged causing the brake shoes to jam.
Does the vehicle have the ABS or Brake warning light illuminated on the instrument cluster?
