I have a 2000 silverado 1500 5.3 2wd. And it shakes at a stop. Doesn't pick up as any regular truck. I've noticed when driven to much I guess the motor heats up and shakes even more at a stop. And I've also noticed were the air flows underneath my truck.
Shakes even more if driven too much and heat flows down the tube of the headers. Doesn't pick up how any regular truck does by pressing on the gas. Has 190,000 miles.

The first thing to do is have the trouble codes pulled. Any Advance auto ro Auto zone will do this for free. They will also loan out test tools. You should also check the fuel pressure.
