I was recently installing a cold air intake on my 2000 chevy s10 2.2L. When I removed all of the stock air intake components I noticed a vacuum hose about an inch in diameter. It is not connected to anything on one end but leads to a pump of some sort under the radiator just behind the front bumper.

I included some photo's.
One is looking down at the hose from under the hood.
The other two are of the part located under the radiator behind the bumper.

Secondly There was a small hose connected to the plenum. It is located under the throttle body.I included a picture of it. Can you tell me what the purpose of this is.

The first 3 pictures are of an electric air pump system that is disconnected and the last picture is a breather hose on the valve cover that should be connected to the intake.

Do you know where the two vacuum hoses on the electric air pump go? As of right now one hose is connected to something, the other shown in the picture is disconnected and sucking in air when the truck is running.

It's an air pump. It's supposed to suck air in.
