I have a 2000 Escalade and the drivers door is making a crunching noise when you open it. Also, It simetimes sticks closed so that you have to hit it hard with your shoulder to get out, it seems to be dragging on the closer mechanism. Any suggestions?

It sounds like the door check roller, or the bushings are worn out. On some earlier K trucks the hinge pins and bushings were serviceable, I believe yours is only serviced with hinges. If when you have the door open, and you lift it from the bottom, and can feel some play, you have some wear in the hinges. A visual inspection will also show it, more than likely the top hinge.
