I am having to roll down my window and open my door from the outside because the handle on the inside does not open the door. Is there one replacement part option or several options that could be the problem and what approx cost am I looking at?

Sounds like maybe the inside door handle, or a linkage rod has come off. Should run about 1 hour of labor plus the parts,(depending on what it needs)

Here's a video on door panel removal for a Chevy truck, should be the same for your Escalade

Hers a guide to removing the door panel, once off the handle is right there

Go to ebay motors and search for replacement part. Make sure that it is for the left side/LH or for the right side/RH. It is just a matter of removing the outer plastic trim around the door handle. It should pry off with a small screwdriver. A rivet holds the assembly in place. Drill out the rivet and slide the assembly forward or backwards. I can't remember which way.
