When I turn the ignition on, only the mileage illuminates. If I turn it to start it cranks the engine but doesnt fire. If I turn the ignition on and leave it for about five minutes the engine light, oil and handbrake light will come on and it can start without a problem and you can drive it very smooth. On the scanner there are no codes found. What could be the prob

Even when the scanner is connected it will ask you to turn the key on although the key will be on. The moment the the warning lights come on the dash the scanner gets powered as well and thats when it starts scanning
