i have a hole in my back box about the size of a ten pence what is the best way to repair it

What caused the hole? if it was punchered and the circuit board was damaged you may have further problems, bit if it is just a hole in the case and not affecting anything, just some duct tape to keep any bust and moisture out is all that is required.
