Shakes but as you pick up speed

When you first start driving the car, it shakes but as you pick up speed it levels off and runs ok. What could that be? When I start driving the car it thumps along and then as you pickup speed it levels off.

Hi this sounds like a missfire when did you last get a tune up major as in plugs wires fuel filter. Cap rotor if applicable?
