As a mechanic, if you put a used engine in for someone and the new engine fails 5 miles from your shop, do you cover the labor to put in another engine or not? This just happened to me and they are telling me the engine is covered, but I'll have to pay labor again.

Sorry but that is how it is shop purchaced engine and will not be remersed by salvage. If you had rebuilt then it would be warrentied
