The jeep will not start. It cracks but will not turn over and the dash light with the key with a line through it comes on. We only have one key for the jeep and that's the one not working. Can't afford to go to a dealer to have them make and code the Sentry keys. What can we do at home to fix it?

There really isn't anything you can do at home to fix this problem. The system isn't recognizing the key or there is another problem with the security system. You need the proper equipment to reset the system.
