2002 Jeep Laredo Ignition Key

My ignition key wont move to start. the wheels are straight and the steering Whell is moving back and forth but the ignition key wont move to start the engine.

first thign first, try a new key.. the one you have could be worn or bent.

next step would be to lube up the key with graphite lock lube and the spray inside and around basically anywhere you can get it in the cylinder and hit on it try to knock the pins down. if that dont work the cylinder will need replacement.
