Transmission just stop pulling?

Driving down the road and the truck just stop pulling engine is still running and the shift still goes in all the gears What could cause this problem and how do I fix it

Check fluid level then scan for codes probably time for a rebuild.

I would check the fluid level first, then I would see if the driveshaft is spinning while in gear when stopped this would mean you have a broken rear axle which are common on these trucks. Here is a guide to help you with the transmission fluid level check.
