I have a '99 Hyundai Accent. The break light and battery light had come on and off over the summer so I had both the battery and alternator replaced. The car has been running great except recently the lights decide to go on again. But if I had bought brand new parts why would this be happening?

Before replacing anything, make sure the brake fluid is full. Next, go to a nationally recognized parts store and have them check the alternator and battery. Most do it for free.

Have that done and let me know what they tell you. If both are good, you need to check possible wiring issues.

Let me know what you find.
