You might have a vacuum leak or have a fuel delivery problem.
First check your fuel pressure with a test gauge. There should be a test port on the fuel rail.
Look for vacuum leaks. Listen for them under the hood along the intake tract. Rubber deteriorates over time and gets brittle and falls apart. I use a piece of thread to check areas I can't see to well as it will get sucked towards the leak when near it.
The Iadle Air control Valve could be dirtry or leaking. It is on the intake manifold near the throttle body and will have an electrical connector and coolant hoses running through it. Check the mating surface between it and the intake. Lookk ofr rotten or cracked tubes.
Also, try some high quality fuel system cleaner such as Sea Foam or BG44K. Other fuel system cleaners really do not compare to either of these products.
So, start with fuel pressure and go from there.
