dome light not working 1999 gmc suburban, but all work when you spin dimmer wheel.

first check your fuses. then if it doesn't work when you open the drivers' door, try opening the pasenger door and see if it goes on. it could still be a fuse, but it could also be a switch. as they work when the door is opened. the wire may have fallen off to cause it.
